There was a 5.62 per cent daily positivity rate and a 3.39 per cent weekly positivity rate, according to the report.
The total number of persons who recovered from the illness rose to 4,27,87,606, with a case fatality rate of 1.21 percent.
According to the government, the Covid-19 vaccination campaign has so far resulted in the administration of 197.11 crore doses of vaccine throughout the country.
