Over the last 2 years, the use of education technology skyrocketed as schools jostled to keep their students up-to-date with ongoing classes. Students continue learning from home through online classes, and we are strongly optimistic about the role education technology can play to help connect facilitators and our growing children as they make up for lost time with continuous effort and online teaching programs.
Change in education is inevitable. As the needs of institutions evolve, classrooms will keep pace.
- Roster Import
Starting this summer, with help of Google Workspace for Education Plus will be able to mechanically set up classes and keep rosters in sync with their Student Information System. IT admins will be able to create and populate classes.
- Classroom Add-ons
Classroom add-on allows you to bring the learning content and activity from top edtech tools. Admins will be able to pre-install these add-ons for more than one teacher or more than one group of students at once. The teacher can easily assign the activities to students to complete, without leaving class.
- Scheduling Assignments for Multiple Classrooms
This feature will allow teachers to easily schedule assignments for more than one class. Just with help of a few clicks, the assignment will be aligned to students for a particular date and time. This way they can easily, make weekly schedules or even extra work sessions if required.
- Student Activity Dashboard
Teachers have a tough time following up with students. But now facilitators easily will be able to see what the last activity of a particular student was. When the student submitted their assignment or participated in the classroom through commenting. This will show the engagement level of students.
- Meeting Link in Classrooms
It will make it easier, and more secure to connect through the meet link. All co-teachers in a class will also automatically be co-hosts in the meeting, and only students listed in the Classroom roster will be able to join the Meet. Students will have to wait until a teacher has joined the meeting link and allows them in. And finally, guests outside the class roster will have to get permission to join, so no unwanted participants get into meetings.
