He needs little to no introduction to this world. he is the CEO of tech giant Google and its parent company Alphabet Inc. his simplicity lies when he introduced in his starting journey as CEO of Google, ” the road to success can be found only through hard work”. Sundar Pichai is a student from famous IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Kharagpur, from where he completed his Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) degree. Then he moved to the United States from where he obtained a Master of Science degree from the famous Stanford University and then for doing his MBA further he went to the University of Pennsylvania at Wharton School.
Like any Indian he likes cricket
The very modest and soft-spoken CEO loves playing cricket and football in his ideal time. He loves reading English literature and watches F.R.I.E.N.D.S. like so many other youngsters around the world. He is a big fan of football and loves to see matches. He is a fan of the Barcelona team and is a Lionel Messi fan.
He was a contender for the position of CEO at Microsoft also
In 2014, Mr. Pichai was one of the contenders for the CEO’s position at Microsoft along with Satya Nadella. Eventually, Mr. Nadella was chosen for a position there at Microsoft and he later became CEO of Google in 2015.
He is one of the most powerful men of Indian origin in the United States. Indians marvel at his accomplishments; however, the road success was not easy. After Google co-founder, Larry Page and Sergey Brin announced their resignation from executive positions Mr. Pichai became CEO of Alphabet Inc in 2019.
