Preliminary examinations for the UPSC Prelims 2022 have been successfully completed. The Civil Service Examination undertaken by the Union Public Service Commission every year is one of the most prestigious examinations in the country. Every year lakhs of candidates take part in the examination to aim for the top administrative posts in the Indian Bureaucracy. The examination consists of three stages: the Preliminary stage, the Mains stage and the Personality Test. See what UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Test participants have to say about the difficulty level and expert exam analysis of the question paper of the UPSC CSE 2022 prelims’ cutoffs.

On behalf of BYJU, Sarmad Mehraj said that the paper, or question paper, was more straightforward than the previous year, while several questions were in the range of moderate to challenging. As he predicted last year, this year’s cutoff will be in excess of 90 years old. The experts’ consensus on the expected cutoff range is shown in the table below. Environment and Science & Technology-related topics dominated the exam’s questions (31 Questions). Many of the issues were phrased in terms of IT and communication; thus, this was the primary emphasis.

Due to a new pattern of possibilities, the ability to use elimination strategies was gone. In the past, candidates had the option of eliminating one or two possibilities in order to arrive at an answer.

Only one of two pairs is adequately matched, only two pairs are correctly matched, and so on were UPSC’s possibilities for at least eight questions this year. Thus, the cutoff would be affected.

Buddhism, Jainism, Temples, literature and texts, Mongols, Early British Expansion, constitutional history, Revolutionaries, Sangam Literature, and the Mauryan Dynasty were among of the topics covered in the history section. It is possible that some of the questions are too tough to respond to

Compared to prior years, the questions on Indian politics and economics were more straightforward. Deputy Speaker, Attorney General for India, banking, and other current events topics dominated UPSC’s questions in these disciplines.

Eleven questions were derived from the study of Indian politics. Economics was the focus of 16 questions. Compared to past years, this year’s Geography questions were a departure. Most of the questions were factual or location-based rather than philosophical in nature; and,

As a result, students scored much higher on the CSE exam when it came to international relations (A total of 14 questions were asked) asked about Afghanistan, Central Asia and Eastern Europe, as well as Africa.

Preliminary Exam 2022 Question Paper Review, Experts’ Estimated Cutoff Marks

UPSC Prelims 2022 question paper review and projected cut off will be released shortly by experts. Following discussions with candidates, analysts believe this year’s cut off is likely to rise but remain below the 100 mark. Cutoff dates from past years may be found on this page. Regarding this year, experts have also provided their predictions for the cutoff point. According to the information we’ve gathered, this year’s cutoff is expected to be between 95 and 105.

Candidates are advised to keep in mind that the projected cutoff is based on the information provided by candidates who have taken the examination. In order to produce them, we take into account the average number of correct answers applicants have given. As a result of this year’s difficulty level, experts believe that at least 45 of the questions may have been tried by more students. Based on it, the cutoff date has been set.
