On Sunday, Congress politician and Punjabi artist, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot and killed in Mansa district. Two more people were injured as a result of the incident. The tragedy occurred a day after Punjab withdrew 424 people’s security, including Moose Wala. The security cover was cancelled as part of the Bhagwant Mann government’s effort to eliminate the VIP culture.
When they were attacked, Moose Wala and two of his friends were driving in a jeep to the village of Jawahar Ke in Punjab. After his SUV was hit by gunshots, Moose Wala was found splayed on his seat, bleeding profusely. He was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead by medics.
The attack appeared to be the consequence of a gang fight, according to Punjab police According to investigators, the incident was perpetrated by a thug from Canada.

He alleged that Shaganpreet, the manager of Moose Wala, was engaged in the assassination of Vicky Middukhera last year.
