Elon Musk Takeover Twitter At $44 Billion & May Charge for Tweet

Yes! You have rightly heard. Elon Musk has decided to buy the biggest Social Media Platform ‘Twitter’ at $44 Billion.

Mr. Musk is the world’s richest men, with an estimated net worth of $273.6bn mostly due to his shareholding in electric vehicle maker Tesla which he runs. He also leads the aerospace firm SpaceX.

The Board of twitter has offered $44bn (£34.5bn) to the billionaire elon musk. 

Mr. Musk also said Twitter has Tremendous Potential & he will unlock the same. He also added to do series of changes by removing content restrictions to eradicate fake accounts, defeating spam bots and authenticating humans, adding new features, making open source algorithms to increase trust.

Mr. Musk also mentioned in his tweet, “the free speech is the bedrock (foundation) for functioning democracy and twitter is the digital town square where matters vital for the future of humanity are debated”. He also wants to make twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features.

Mr. Musk in his latest tweet, said “Twitter will always be free for casual users, but maybe a slight cost for commercial / government users,” this means certain users on will be charged fees in the future.
