Mukul Rohatgi, the lawyer for Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan, told that he is pleased that NCB has acknowledged their error.
The Narcotics Control Bureau has handed Aryan Khan a clean chit in the cruise narcotics case, some eight months after he was originally arrested. Aryan Khan has been cleared after the NCB found no evidence against him. Mukul Rohatgi, the lawyer for Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s sons, told NDTV that he is pleased that NCB has acknowledged their error.
In an interview with the station, Rohatgi stated, “I’m relieved, and my clientele, including Shah Rukh Khan, must be as well. The truth has won out. Finally, there was no evidence to indict or arrest this young man (Aryan Khan). He was not found in possession of any drugs, and I had told the court that the arrest was utterly pointless.”
He went on to say, “I’m pleased with the NCB’s professionalism. At the very least, admitting and realising that there was no justification to pursue this young man at the time of filing the charge sheet. They’ve admitted to making a mistake.”
